If you are a DIVEMASTER and think,that it's time to become an instructor I'm letting you know,that from 24 In June of this year, for the first time in Bulgaria, the SDI IDC /instructor development course/ will be held. The course will be held in the city of Sozopol and will be led by SDI – TDI instructor trainer Jurgen Baumer - head of SDI TDI Central Europe office with assistance from me as SDI TDI instructor.

Eligibility requirements :

7.5 Student Prerequisites

1. Minimum age 18

2. Certified diver for a minimum of 6 months

3. Provide proof of 100 logged dives completed in a number of different environments with varying depths

4. Be certified as a SDI Divemaster, SDI Assistant Instructor, or equivalent.

5. Provide proof of current First Response Adult and Child Emergency Care Provider and Oxygen Administration Provider

certification or equivalent*

First Response courses may be combined with the IDC program by

qualified Course Directors or Instructor Trainers

No crossover is required if you are certified by another agency.
